what is innate abundance?
During my journey as a Naturopathic Physician and healing arts practitioner, as well as an individual on my own healing and soul recovery path, I have come to recognize that we all have within us innate (inborn) abundance. I define innate abundance as the spiritual and cellular template we brought with us into this current life when we became embodied. This template has everything we have ever been and everything we are to become within it. At a soul level, we know what we came here to do when we adopted our "Earth Suit", as the beloved Seneca Elder of The Wolf Clan, Gram Twylah Nitsch once termed our embodiment of this life.
Our life experiences (especially illnesses and traumas of our childhood), create physical cellular changes and psychospiritual structures and coping skills in order to survive our circumstances. These ego structures and coping skills helped us survive our childhoods when we were dependent upon others for our every need...for food, shelter, clothing, and above all, love and affection. As adults, those coping skills can begin to limit our ability to thrive and live our life fully; they separate us from our innate abundance. When this separation occurs, we retain cellular memory of the traumas and toxicities (physical and emotional) that caused this separation, and these cellular memories can then become physical or emotional symptoms of dis-ease. These symptoms are a message to us from our body and soul that we have become disconnected from our highest soul purpose, and therefore from the abundance of living a vital and fulfilled life. When we open to recovering this innate abundance, we begin to heal and find the vitality and wholeness that are our birthright.
As a licensed Naturopathic Doctor and an ordained shamanic minister, I view my role in wellness care as one of facilitator and compassionate guide. I do not aim to fix or cure a person, as I believe that with proper support, it is within each of us to heal ourselves. I utilize Naturopathic modalities of botanical medicine, homeopathy, nutritional supplementation, and food as medicine to support the physical body in the healing process. To further stimulate the vital force of each individual, I provide bodywork and energy work, psychospiritual counseling, and Shamanic Breathworkâ„¢ facilitation to enhance your ability to recognize and recover your own innate abundance. I do not view symptoms as a disease to be cured, but rather as a message from your highest self about what needs to be addressed in order to establish harmony and balance.
In our busy lives, sometimes palliation is all we can find the time and energy for as we attempt to uphold our work and family obligations. However, when we merely suppress the symptoms of dis-ease, and do not access the underlying issue, the symptom that has been suppressed will eventually resurface in another aspect of our being. While palliation may get you back to work (in the short run), it is my belief that we must value our lives and our vessels enough to put the time and attention toward hearing what our body is trying to tell us and get to the true root of the issue, even if it takes a little more time and effort. I believe we are all worth that time and effort, and it is my honor to accompany you on that journey.

"Just as each snowflake is unique, so is each person. Your primary purpose in life is to experience life from one individual, unique point of view. You are an expression of Infinite Being as it experiences itself from all possible viewpoints."
